Proline 2.5" Jet Flare Dredge HP200
High performance and quality in an easy to set-up/break-down design. The one-piece jet flare/power jet provides even flow onto the state-of-the-art wave classifier. A specially designed suction hose ring joins the power jet and suction hose to make set up easier. The classifier, ¼” flap, and special header riffles create a jigging action that drops gold in the front of the box. The header riffles and wave classifier can be removed separately from the rest of the box to make clean up easier. The box is fully lined with miner’s moss to further improve gold recovery. The 2½” dredge is powered by a Honda GX120 with a 200 GPM Proline pump.
This machine was a trendsetter when it first came on the market, and it continues to be one of our best sellers many years later. When other 2.5" dredges were floating on inner-tubes, required a suction nozzle for producing dredge vacuum, and had limited depth capabilities, the Proline 2.5" dredge sat on sturdy pontoons and used a power jet for dredge vacuum. It was also capable of driving an air compressor to support more active underwater mining. It was originally powered by our HP175 pump, but this pump has been replaced by our newer HP200, which is more powerful and easier to prime.
Our latest dredge has seen other refinements as well. Most notably, an all-new flare and sluice box. It is a bolt-together design, just like the flare/sluice assemblies found on our larger dredges. This new package is stronger and breaks down to take up less space when not in use. As with previous models, this dredge relies on the pontoons as a structural member, eliminating the need for a conventional framework to save weight. The front and rear cross members bolt to the pontoons through the use of threaded inserts cast into the pontoons.
For those interested in maximum weight savings and portability, we also make this dredge available with the smaller Honda GXH50/HP100 engine/pump assembly. It is quieter and requires less fuel to operate than the HP200 but is less powerful and is not capable of driving a compressor.
Regardless of the engine/pump package you choose, rest assured that you're getting a small, dependable dredge that is big on performance and quality.
